Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of SAMO VPN, connecting to the service and paying for your subscription.

What SAMO provides

SAMO is a VPN service with managed routing. Your subscription provides access to our multi-server infrastructure, connection configuration and updates.

SAMO manages routing for you. Overseas access uses an entry point in Russia and an exit abroad. Russian resources may be reached directly under our routing rules. Users abroad can use a Russian exit at no extra charge.

Connections use Happ. Supported platforms include Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android TV and Apple TV.

Your account and free trial

Your account uses Telegram and your phone number. You can sign in through Telegram or with your phone number; phone verification takes place through Telegram.

The free trial lasts three days from your first VPN use and includes 30 GB. After that allowance is used, speed is limited to approximately 1 Mbps until the trial ends, without disconnecting access. No bank card or payment is needed for the trial. Trials granted before the duration change on 15 October 2026 retain their previously granted duration and 100 GB allowance.

The trial is available once. Your Telegram ID and phone number are used to prevent repeat trials. Deleting your account does not make you eligible for another trial.

You are responsible for keeping access to your Telegram account, password and connection configuration secure.

Pricing and renewal

The base subscription costs $2.99 per calendar month.

It includes managed routing, a Russian exit for users abroad, up to five devices and 1 TB of data per monthly period. Additional data is available under the rules below.

International profiles pay in USD using cryptocurrency. Profiles registered for Russia use a separate RUB checkout with Russian bank cards or the Faster Payments System (SBP).

You renew manually, at your own request. We do not link your card for recurring payments or charge you automatically. Your free trial does not automatically become a paid subscription.

Devices

You can link up to five devices to one subscription. You may replace devices by removing old ones and adding new ones within that limit.

Data, top-ups and rollover

The base subscription includes 1 TB per monthly period. 1 TB means 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. The allowance is shared across all devices and connection destinations on your account.

When your available allowance runs out, speed is limited to approximately 1 Mbps until the next period or a data top-up. Access is not disconnected.

An extra 1 TB costs $1. Top-ups are available for paid subscriptions. Each purchase adds 1 TB to your purchased data balance.

A second top-up in the same monthly period enables unlimited data until that period ends. Two top-ups cost $2 in total, in addition to the base subscription. Unlimited access does not extend your subscription and does not automatically carry over to the next period.

Unused purchased data rolls over to the next month. This applies to the remaining balance of both the first and second purchased terabytes. Only the balance remaining at the end of the period rolls over: for example, 0.6 TB of unused purchased data is added to your allowance for the next month.

In the next period, you receive a fresh base allowance of 1 TB in addition to your remaining purchased balance. The base allowance is used first, followed by purchased data. Unused base data does not roll over. The top-up count used to unlock unlimited access starts again in each monthly period.

A monthly period follows your subscription, rather than the first and last days of a calendar month. Renewing early adds time to your subscription but does not itself reset current usage. Buying data does not add days of access.

Only data passing through SAMO counts. Direct traffic that does not pass through our infrastructure is excluded. Data counters contain neither browsing history nor the contents of your VPN traffic.

Outages and service credits

If the service is unavailable because of a failure in SAMO's network or infrastructure, we extend your subscription by the duration of the outage and the same duration again as a bonus.

Credits are calculated in days: each continuous outage is rounded up to whole days, then doubled. For example, an outage lasting less than one day gives you two extra days.

This does not cover problems with your device, home or mobile network, or internet provider when SAMO's infrastructure is working. Contact @swycswh for help identifying the cause.

Refunds

A three-day free trial lets you try the service before paying. We do not offer a voluntary money-back guarantee for subscription payments. SAMO outages are covered by the service credits described above.

These terms do not restrict any refund rights provided by applicable law. For mistaken or duplicate payments, contact @swycswh.

Responsibility and support

You are responsible for your actions when using the service. Reselling SAMO traffic is not permitted.
