A VPN that keeps things simple
About SAMO VPN
A premium approach to convenience at an affordable price. SAMO gives you access to websites without constant switching or configuring routes yourself.
3 days free, then $2.99 a month. Up to 5 replaceable devices, automatic routing and 1 TB per monthly period. An extra 1 TB costs $1. Your second top-up in the same period unlocks unlimited data until that period ends. Unused top-up data rolls over.
What is SAMO VPN?
SAMO takes care of routing so you do not have to keep switching your VPN on and off for different websites. Less switching and configuration, more peace of mind.
How is SAMO different from a Happ subscription link?
Behind the simple setup is a network of servers with managed routing. For users in Russia, international traffic travels from a Russian entry to an exit abroad. We configure routes and deliver updates through your subscription. Russian websites can open directly, and users abroad can use a Russian exit. You do not need to assemble rules or manage servers. Happ is the connection app; SAMO is the infrastructure and team behind it.
How does automatic routing work?
SAMO chooses routes using rules maintained by our team. For users in Russia, international access uses a Russian entry and a foreign exit. Russian websites covered by direct routing use your regular connection without passing through SAMO, so you do not have to turn the VPN off for them.
Can I use a Russian exit from another country?
Yes. A Russian exit is included in the paid plan at no additional cost. You do not need a separate subscription.
How much does it cost?
The first 3 days are free: link your Telegram account to activate your trial, with no bank card required. Then the subscription costs $2.99 per calendar month. Renew manually whenever you choose, with no recurring charges. Automatic routing, the Russian exit and up to 5 devices are included. The base allowance is 1 TB. An extra 1 TB costs $1; the second top-up in the same monthly period unlocks unlimited data until the period ends. Unused top-up data rolls over.
How many devices can I add?
Up to 5 devices per subscription. You can replace devices, for example by removing your old phone and adding a new one.
How can I pay?
International accounts pay in US dollars using crypto payments. The subscription costs $2.99 a month after the 3-day free trial. Accounts in Russia use the separate ruble checkout with Russian card payments, SBP and crypto payments.
How does the data allowance work?
The base plan includes 1 TB per monthly period. After your available allowance is used, speed is limited to approximately 1 Mbps without disconnecting access. An extra 1 TB costs $1. The second top-up in a period unlocks unlimited data until the period ends. Unused purchased data rolls over; the base allowance does not. Top-ups do not extend your subscription. Only traffic through SAMO counts; direct routes do not.
What happens when paid or trial access ends?
The free plan uses Sweden at up to 256 kbps with unlimited data. For the Russia profile, it connects through Saint Petersburg. Renew your subscription to restore full speed and all countries.
Which devices are supported?
Connect with Happ on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android TV and Apple TV, including phones, tablets, computers and TVs on these platforms.
Why Happ, and how do settings update?
We use Happ for resilience and support across platforms. SAMO manages routing, while your subscription automatically updates the connection configuration. You do not have to copy every settings change manually. You can add the subscription to Happ from your account.
How does VPN traffic appear to the network?
For connections through our Russian entry, SAMO carries traffic over HTTPS rather than merely substituting a familiar website name. Your device establishes an encrypted connection to our entry in Russia, which appears to your provider as HTTPS traffic to a Russian website. Your data travels inside that connection; encryption hides the subsequent route and destination websites. We carry the international part through our own network, rather than requiring a direct connection from you to a foreign VPN server. This architecture accounts for the risk of separate charges for international traffic.
What is SAMO’s position on user data?
The SAMO team’s position: we do not sell, transfer or disclose user data, including in response to requests. We do not retain VPN traffic contents or browsing history. To operate the service, we store your Telegram ID and phone number for account access, subscription and device management, payment association, recovery and support, as well as trial eligibility, subscription dates, linked devices, total data usage and payment IDs and statuses. Telegram IDs, phone numbers and trial records are retained indefinitely to prevent repeated trials. Other account data and support correspondence on our side are deleted 90 days after the subscription ends. Technical logs used for debugging, stability and protection against attacks are kept for no more than 72 hours, then deleted; they are not shared with third parties. See our privacy policy for details. Users are responsible for their own actions when using the service.
